Making of the Pablo Picasso inspired look.

Well well this one was something total out of the box Bob Linacre Brisbane photographer before visiting Hobart he sent me his ideas through emails corresponding showing me lots of arts of Pabblo picasso i had no idea who is this guy and therefore my research started i did the googling research oh thank God for this era we are in everything its there just waiting for us to type. I end up getting all my answers from wikipedia and i realised he was known as a genious in art in 18th century  mmmmh but to be honest i find some of his work very disturbing to look at and distorting hence very creative with  bold colors oh my God! i am running out of words he is a true genious! His art if you google his name makes you think what the hell was this guy trying to portray ? what state of his mind was he in ? thats the artistic mind. Captures your mind and mesmerize it!

Basically  Pablo Picasso, "Chanel in blue" - The Blue Period (Spanish: Período Azul) is a term used to define the works produced by Spanish painter Pablo Picasso between 1901 and 1904 when he painted essentially monochromatic paintings in shades of blue and blue-green, only occasionally warmed by other colors. These somber works, inspired by Spain and painted in Barcelona and Paris, are now some of his most popular works, although he had difficulty selling them at the time.

Here is a link to understand the artist who inpired us to do some magic based on his art work Read more on Pablo Picasso in this link https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pablo_Picasso" target="_blank">https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pablo_Picasso

At first we were all gathering ideas and then  Bob Linacre and his Friend another photographer Hobart based known as Peter Deck they came to a decision  that the  model has to have a bluish silver body paint look with  huge eyes not the distorted look.Which to me was brilliant ! i was happy with that decision i said lets go for it ! Bob's idea was Pablo Picasso in his blue time arsts so the paint has to be a bluish silver tone and the contrast of red and red flowers with red lipstic hair was my own invention i wanted her look like the old days. Model Clair Minnuccini she was amazing with her poses and accessories and the costumes needed.

My work as an artist i had to make sure the paint is going to be awesome on her body created the big eye illusion and fixed her hair just like the old days painted her earlobes and most part of her hair...all done manually no airbrushed used.

Time for all makeup hair and body paint done was 3.30 to 6.pm shooting was 20 minutes drive for Clair to go she did lots of poses and changed into different styles in clothes and light effects . She told me the shoot went on from 7.30 to almost 10 something ...so yes me not being there to fix her was a little of a disadvantage the reason being i have no one to take care of my toddler at that late hour but all good all pictures came out beautiful artistic and imperfections makes it perfect the crack that started on her neck came out beautifully on her neck and chest that was due to Clair moving alot and sweating with lights on her and changing cloths. It does happen in photo shoots!

I am proud of the results of the team efforts and the magic we brought in this look. Congratulations Bob Linacre, Peter Deck and Model Clair Minuccini Amazing photo! Looking forward for more creative style looks in the future with Bob and Peter.

Here are behind the scenes with Clairs  before she went for the shoot Photos taken by the Samsung Galaxy 6.. and the rest are a few picked on the end results of the photoshoot sessions Clair did an amazing job in transformation into a Queen of the Doom to a haggard wicked witch and ended up like a Godess in her blue time. Very entertaining! Its like she is telling us a story in her photos.
